Our treasurer, Amirah Kirwan, created the loading screen art for the game!

One of our club members, Xaviera Lipscombe, designed an original character sprite sheet for the game. I imported the sprite sheet into the engine to test it out. It looks great!

☆ Here is the sprite sheet and a video of the sprite in the game demo I created. ☆

Our first in-progress project is in RPG Maker MV, due to members’ lack of game dev experience/knowledge. It’s a simple puzzle game and our members will create customized sprites, story concept/inspiration, and title screen art. I hope to have this finished by the end of the current school semester (May 5th).

Current concept: Protagonist wakes up in jail and it is the player’s goal to solve puzzles in order to escape. There will be around three puzzles and two endings.

☆ Here is a demo I created of the game’s opening scene. This was made to give life/atmosphere to the project and inspire members to contribute in their own ways for the completion of the project. ☆
